How much wallpaper do you need?

Each package contains 2 strips measuring 53 cm wide and 270 cm high. Together, these cover a wall width of 106 cm, provided the wall height and pattern repeat fit within the available length.

Step 1: Measure the total width and height of your wall.

Step 2: Add about 10 cm extra to the wall height to account for uneven ceilings and minor height variations.

Step 3: Divide the total wall width by 53 cm to find the number of strips you need. Round this number up. Since each package contains two strips, divide that number by two and round up to the nearest full package.

Note the pattern repeat: The quilt pattern has a repeat of 51 cm. When determining the quantity you need, take extra cutting waste into account to match up the check pattern seamlessly. For taller walls, this may mean you need more wallpaper than a simple square-footage calculation suggests.

Important: We recommend ordering all required wallpaper strips at once to avoid slight color variations between different production batches.

Installation

The Geblokt Quilt Roze Wallpaper by Atelier Chien is made of non-woven material and can be applied directly to a pasted wall.

Preparation: Make sure the wall is clean, dry, smooth, and even before you begin.

Wallpaper paste: Use adhesive formulated specifically for non-woven wallpaper.

Application: Apply the paste evenly straight onto the wall and carefully position the wallpaper strips edge to edge. Keep the 51 cm pattern repeat in mind so the hand-drawn checks line up beautifully.

Finishing: Carefully trim any excess paper using a sharp utility knife for a crisp, clean finish.
