Use and safety

Correct size: Only use the Buckle Toddler when your child weighs at least 9 kg (20 lbs) and is big enough to fit safely in the carrier. Clothing size 80/86 is an important guideline here.

Ergonomic position: Make sure your child is properly supported, with knees higher than the bottom and their back resting comfortably against your body.

Clear airways: Always keep your child's face visible. The nose and mouth must remain free, and the chin should never be pressed against their chest.

Fastenings: Before each use, check that all buckles and straps are secure and the carrier is properly adjusted.

Fall hazard: Do not bend forward from your waist; always bend at your knees. Be mindful of changes in your balance while carrying your child.

Not suitable for: Sleeping as a wearer, cycling, running, swimming, skiing, or use in motorized vehicles.
