Polkadot Mini Okergeel – Non-woven wallpaper with small dots for baby and kid's room – Atelier Chien

Dots, dots, and more dots! The Polkadot Mini Okergeel Wallpaper by Atelier Chien brings a playful and cheerful vibe to the nursery or kid's room. The small, delicate dots in a warm ochre yellow shade give the wall just that touch of extra character without making the space feel too busy. A timeless design with a modern twist that pairs beautifully with calm as well as colorful interiors.

The wallpaper features a subtle polka dot pattern with dots measuring 1.5 cm in diameter, spaced about 11.5 cm apart. This creates an airy, playful pattern that lends the room a soft, cozy feel. The warm ochre yellow color coordinates wonderfully with natural wood tones, soft cream colors, olive green, and warm earthy tones.

The wallpaper is made of high-quality matte non-woven wallpaper with a beautiful, understated finish. Thanks to the matte texture, the colors and dots look truly stunning. What’s more, the material is FSC-certified, VOC-free, and fire retardant. A conscious choice for the nursery or child's bedroom, where playful design meets premium materials.

Each package contains two wallpaper strips measuring 53 cm wide and 270 cm high. Together, these cover a wall width of 106 cm. Whether you want to wallpaper an entire room or create a single statement accent wall, this dot wallpaper makes it easy to add a personal touch to your space.

The design was lovingly crafted by Annechien, the designer behind Atelier Chien. Guided by her love for color, prints, and playful interiors, she creates unique designs that bring something truly special to any room. The wallpaper is made to order in the Netherlands, with utmost care for quality and detail.

A lovely choice for a warm and cozy nursery or a cheerful kid's room where imagination and timeless design come together. At HUSKS Home, we love pairing this wallpaper with natural wooden furniture, soft textiles, and subtle color accents.

How much wallpaper do you need?

Each package contains 2 strips measuring 53 cm wide and 270 cm high. Together, these are suitable for a wall width of 106 cm, provided the wall height falls within the available strip length.

Step 1: Measure the total width and height of your wall.

Step 2: Add about 10 cm extra to your measured wall height to account for any height variations or uneven ceilings.

Step 3: Divide the total wall width by 53 cm to calculate how many strips you will need. Round the number of strips up. Because each package contains two strips, divide that number by two and round up to find the required number of packages.

Important: We recommend ordering all the wallpaper strips you need at the same time to prevent any slight color differences between production batches.

Installation

The Polkadot Mini Okergeel Wallpaper by Atelier Chien is made from non-woven wallpaper and can be applied directly to a pasted wall.

Preparation: Make sure the wall is clean, dry, smooth, and even before you begin.

Wallpaper paste: Use adhesive formulated specifically for non-woven wallpaper.

Application: Apply the wallpaper paste directly to the wall and carefully place the strips side by side. Make sure the dot pattern lines up smoothly for a seamless, harmonious result.

Finishing: Carefully trim any excess wallpaper using a sharp utility knife for a neat finish.

Tip: Pair the ochre yellow dot wallpaper with light wood furniture, warm cream shades, and natural materials for a serene nursery. Or add olive green, soft blue, or burgundy accents for a playful, contemporary interior.
