Hvid is a Belgian brand specializing in sustainable knitwear for babies and children, made from 100% merino wool. The brand, founded by Caroline Camerlynck, stands for timeless, minimalist designs in soft, neutral colors that can be used all year round.

All products, such as baby blankets, booties, hats, cocoons, and comforters, are produced locally in a small family factory, with an emphasis on ethical working conditions and environmental friendliness. The warehouse, workshop, and office are located in the Belgian countryside. The gathering, packaging, and shipping of the products take place from the 'barn workshop' in nature.

Hvid uses OEKO-TEX®-certified, mulesing-free merino wool, which is thermoregulating, breathable, antibacterial, and self-cleaning, ideal for sensitive baby skin.

The strength of merino wool lies in its versatility and softness. It is also known for its durable quality that lasts a very long time. Because merino wool is biodegradable, meaning it can break down organically into the ecosystem, long-term environmental pollution is avoided.

Hvid collaborates with the best Italian spinning mills that must comply with the strictest European regulations for dyeing yarns. Their partners use 100% renewable energy and have optimized water purification and discharge.

Together with the team and partners, Hvid makes it possible to create a product that is 100% made in Belgium. Hvid avoids overproduction by producing on demand, contributing to their sustainable approach.
